Jessica's Favourite photos of 2024 - Part 2

Today, I want to share some of my favourite images from the last few months, a collection of moments that, to me, reflect beauty, creativity, and vulnerability.

Over the past few months, I’ve had the incredible honour of working with so many amazing women who stepped into our studio to celebrate themselves.

Each photograph tells a story, each of them a testament to the incredible women who stepped into the studio with me, and I hope they inspire you to imagine your own story captured in light and shadow.

One of the most exciting aspects of my job is experimenting with colour and creativity. This vibrant body painting session was a highlight for me.

The bold colours and artistic design allowed my client to feel like a living canvas, celebrating her body in a completely new way. This image is a testament to how creative expression can ignite confidence and joy.

I believe every woman should feel empowered to express herself, to explore her fantasies.

Here’s a bold statement piece that encourages women to embrace their daring side. This image represents breaking free from societal norms and celebrating sensuality, the playful yet sultry vibe captures the spirit of the client.

Lighting can completely transform an image. This colourful light creates a vibrant euphoric quality that draws you in. It’s moments like these that inspire me to experiment and push the boundaries of creativity. Every shoot is an opportunity to discover new ways to illuminate the beauty around us.

Returning to the classics, I’ve always loved how black and white photography strips an image down to its essence. Silhouettes have a special way of creating mystery while showcasing the body’s beautiful lines.

In the world of photography, there’s something profoundly powerful about nude portraits. They strip away the distractions of clothing, to stretch and breath and connect with her body. These sessions are meditative and cathartic, like a yoga class. There is nothing quite as powerful as seeing someone let go of all the expectations, the worries, and just be.

I love these tender black and white portraits, their eyes looking directly into the lens. It’s intimate, with an expression that’s vulnerable yet unafraid. showing that empowerment doesn’t always have to be fierce; it can also be quiet and soft.

As I reflect on these images, I’m reminded of the incredible journeys my clients undertake during our sessions. If you are considering a photography session, I invite you to explore the possibilities with me.

Always Curious, Jessica Truscott
