Jessica's Top 10 Photo's of December 2020
This month has been a super month to showcase my creativity. I was totally in the flow and created some amazing pieces of artwork. Here are a few of my favourites below.
My favourite photos from December…
1. PRIESTESS
Playing with fabric and nude photography to create this unique and powerful shot. The lines of the fabric and shadow lighting fall perfectly around her body.
To me she is a powerful priestess from a dark fantasy story.
2. INTIMATE COUPLE PORTRAIT
I was really inspired towards photographing silhouettes in the month of December.
In this intimate couple portrait I was able to create a tender, moody scene. I love the highlight in Shannon’s eyes as she looks in to the face of her lover.
3 & 4. motivation. strength. determination.
Gill has worked extremely hard to train as a Spartan Athlete, collecting medals and muscles to transform himself into his best self. I feel these portraits capture his focus, determination and sense of self.
5. CLASSIC MOMENT
Family photoshoots are full of funny moments, tantrums, tears and giggles.
Sometimes the blooper shots can be the best images, truly capturing the essence of the moment. These are the images that in decades to come families will laugh over and remember more than anything staged and traditional.

9. THE MYSTERY BEHIND A SILOUTETTE
I love to use backlighting to create silhouette images, to show off shape and a little mystery to the images. Using shadows and darkness can create a sense of mystery that is very attractive in a sensual portrait.
10. Wild, she reminds me of a Lion.
For glamour shoots I like to encourage women to move around, dance and shake their hair out, this helps to loosen up and get out of your comfort zone. Creating images that feel fluid, sensual, and wild.
