Peta's Story
I really didn’t quite know what to expect to be honest and I was a little concerned about how the photos would turn out
“I came to the realisation that I wasn’t going to look any better than I do now and that I am only going to age more and more.”
I wanted some tastefully and professionally done photos, so that I could have something nice to look back on when I’m old.
I am currently off work due to injury and so had the time to go and do it, also my kids are grown up and independent and I really wanted to have some nice photos of myself before I really started getting old, photos that my children can have when I’m gone, also now I have a partner to share them with too.
During my photoshoot, I felt a little bit awkward and shy to start with as I’ve never felt as though I was photogenic and mostly didn’t like having my photo taken, I also felt a little vulnerable especially during the lingerie and nude shots.
However, I became more confident and at ease during the photo shoot as the photographer was very encouraging, patient and professional but some of the photos you can see that I was a little nervous lol 😂

This is another thing that I can tick off my bucket list, a friend of mine had something similar done years ago and I’ve always wanted to do it and thanks to the lovely staff at Zest Photography and Lei who was so patient with me getting me to the point of being ready to do it, she rang me every few weeks to keep in touch, very professional, patient and friendly staff.
What would you say to a woman thinking about doing a boudoir or nude photography experience?
I would say to them to do this for yourself, it is a very liberating and satisfying experience and at the end of it all you have a beautiful collection of photos, the only thing that is left once you depart this earth is a photo why not make it the best one that you can.
