“I needed the photo shoot for my own self love and appreciation of the power, strength and beauty I have within.”
When I was looking for a photographer to capture me at this time in my life, it was important that I found a studio that had a big focus on empowering women struggling with mental health. When you read Zest Photography’s reviews, its pretty clear that their mission is to do exactly that.
Before the day of my photoshoot, I definitely felt nervous but also excited for the outcome of the completed photos. Those nerves disappearing really quickly once I was in my photoshoot where I now felt confident, happy, pretty, important and joyful. My photographer made that happen for me such lovely girls at Zest!
I choose mainly to do a boudoir and nude theme for the purpose that I really wanted to be confident in my own body and to boost my self esteem.
By me doing this incredible experience, It made a massive impact on myself my partner and my family's and friends view of Me! It’s a fantastic outcome to end my experience.
My powerful face expressions on my shots was a highlight for me, and how all of my amazing nudes showed me in different light, all my strength inside as a woman came out and my confidence during my nude photos which pushed me to help heal from past trauma experiences.

As final artwork, it was important to me to have more photos of myself in different situations and positions rather then a couple of big shots. So, I created an incredible fine art box collection of 22 wonderful images.
These photos mean the world to me. To look at forever when I need to and to have in my possession forever to show myself how I was in my youth as time progresses forward.
As a woman, we have trouble seeing the beauty within ourselves. This whole experience for me has clarified how much a photoshoot does help improve how much power we have inside us and the importance it is for every woman to see this.
