Adriana's Top 10 Photo's of November 2020
As a photographer I never imagined being able to show off the best of my work on a platform such as a blog and sharing beautiful images I have created.
Every month I will be sharing my work with you…. Looking forward to sharing not only our photos but also the stories attached from the gorgeous clients I have met along the way.
My favourite photos from November…
1. Expression is the key #1
Expression in photographs is all about showing a feeling or a mood. If it doesn’t make you feel something when you look at it then it hasn’t served it true purpose.
I believe a great photo is a photo that has something expressive to say. In other words, you must feel the photograph.
2. Expression is the key #2
This little bubba definitely got the memo!
3. Best Friends Forever
I loved photographing these two!
Mum flew down from Port Hedland to see her best friend and family here in Perth. This was the first time these little boys had seen each other in months and they were inseparable and loved being in the nudey together.
A true reminder that friendship starts from the heart.
4. Respect the Journey
Lee came to us with one simple request - to show her through her culture.
She had so much respect for the woman of her past and wanted to represent this in her shoot.
This photo to me is so full of strength and I love how it pays tribute to her ancestry.
5. African Princess
This image to me was a reflection of myself exploring a deeper side of a glamour photo. A deeper side of a woman.
As soon as I met Akol I knew I wanted to transform her into her version of an African princess.
Mission accomplished.
6. Elegance in nudes #1
There is nothing more beautiful than the way light can create shape.
These two images show absolute elegance and beauty from the way light shapes a nude body and highlights all the right spots. So simple and classic.
7. Elegance in nudes #2
The real meaning of a nude image is to show the best parts of a woman’s form. Its not about sexualising a woman, instead giving them strength in the masterpiece of there own raw self.
8. Movement & timing
As a photographer I love showing life in my work, movement can be difficult to show in photos and timing is everything.
9. A nude silouette
I love to use backlighting to create silhouette images that mainly show off shape.
The light and the shadow work in conjunction with each other showing details and leaving the image dark to accentuate that detail in the shape of her body and lines.
Gorgeous!
10. the incredible Jess!
In Jess’s photography session, this was the very last photo I took of her.
It reminds me that simplicity is the key. When you strip away the bells and whistles in a photoshoot something amazing can happen.
Every time I look at this photo, I am drawn into the beautiful expression she has, she looks empowered and fierce, yet soft at the same time. How delicately her hands rest on her chest. The sheer material draped on her body in the perfect placement to show shape and to leave mystery of what lies beneath. It shows her at her absolute best and leaves you wanting to know what she is thinking in the last moment before the shutter captured her.
See you in January
