8 Ideas for your Fantasy Glamour photo Shoot
Now that you have either booked your fantasy glamour photoshoot or are thinking about doing one, our team wanted to give you a deeper dive into some fabulous ideas.
You may be asking yourself a few questions such as… Who do you want to be? Who is your alter-ego? What’s my deepest fantasy?
… and who do I need to be to feel my power?
Here are some great ideas from a few of the ladies we have photographed that may inspire you for your photoshoot…
1. angels
Wings are beautiful props to add into your photoshoot because of the symbolism they can represent.
Freedom, spirituality and hope.
You could play with different coloured outfits playing with light vs dark concepts.
Other ideas would be to look for butterfly or leathery bat wings, different textures apart from the classic feathers.
We have a selection of wings at our studio or you can hire wings from https://houseofwings.com.au/
2. victoria secret angel
Like the angel above but combining wings with lingerie to recreate the Victoria secret runway looks.
A little bit magical and a little bit sexy.
Visit ‘Honey Birdette’ or ‘Bras n Things’ for a matching lingerie set, or for something extra special try https://lovechildboudoir.com/collections/rts-body-sets
3. golden goddess
Inspired by the powerful Greek goddess, we combine silken fabric to recreate toga gowns and wreath style head dress
The great thing about using silky fabric is you can suggest a hint of nudity underneath. Add your own swords and helmets like Athena and Diana.
Visit a Spotlight store to source fabric, golden spray paint and add in lots of gold bracelets or arm bands.
What would you be the goddess of?
4. barbarian warrior
The strong, don’t mess with me look. This is popular with those who want to express their strength, especially after overcoming trauma and darkness.
Combine armour, fur pelts, cloaks and weapons, add some red paint for that extra blood thirsty effect. You could find some of these at a Spotlight store and look for leather and natural tones or animal prints.
5. sci-fi dystopian
Inspired by The Matrix, Blade runner and Mad Max.
Grungy leather jackets, Chunky boots, torn tights and studded belts would be great ways to create something cool and futuristic , even delve into steampunk?
6. wiccan witch
Cloaks, tarot cards, sage sticks and crystals balls, bring in your spell casting equipment to cast your own magic in the studio. Bring your black cat and smoke machine for that extra spooky touch.
7. fairy tale princess
A beautiful gown and a sparkly crown or floral head dress for a romantic pretty princess look. These long gowns create amazing shapes when you are twirling and dancing in our studio.
Perfect for ball and bridesmaid dresses, bring along glitter and lots of flowers to play with.
8. gothic queen
The ultimate vampy, powerful woman.
A wow worthy headdress, necklace and corset over the top of lingerie or a gown.
Visit Hurly Burly for your corset and Lovisa for jewelry.
You can order your custom head dress online or make your own, we suggest https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/VerdessaFairy
