Some of history’s most famous artists have taken inspiration from both the nude male and female form. These artists and many others throughout history have created priceless pieces that all depict different versions of the female form, every size, shape, age and ethnicity, with the sole purpose being to celebrate the power and beauty that our bodies hold.

5 MYTHS ABOUT NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY
1.Isn’t that really X rated?
Lots of people think of adult and erotica magazines as their first reference for nude photography. Yes, there are nudes in these sorts of magazines, but where these publications focus on the sexuality of the women pictured, a professional nude photography session is a personal experience designed to help you connect with your body and embrace yourself in your most raw and natural form!
Nude photography is about capturing your form, your beauty and your body in the best possible way without being explicit.
2.I’m not the right body size/shape to do nudes
Beautiful women come in all shapes and sizes! What you consider your best asset might be someone else’s biggest insecurity and vice versa. Regardless of dress size, a nude photoshoot is a way for you to see the best possible version of your body and learn to love it for exactly how it is.
3.What if the parts of me that I’m insecure about are showing?
Our photographers are professionally trained and use artistic photography techniques, taking advantage of the light to sculpt your body. When they look at you during your photography shoot, they’re looking for the best shapes and lines and how best to accentuate these!
Feeling self conscious of your body or how you look without clothes can be the exact reason why ladies decide to push themselves out of their comfort zone and try something like this, as it allows them to see themselves in a way they never have before.
4.will my private parts be on show?
This is not the focus during the shoot, however if an angle accentuates your breasts, then the shape can add to your form our photographers are looking for. What our photographers are looking for and creating during a nude photoshoot is beautiful shapes and lines. They look at how the light falls on your body and how best this can be used to show off your beautiful and unique shape.
5.I won’t want to show this to anyone
If you don’t that is okay, a nude photoshoot is about you learning more about your body and embracing yourself for exactly who you are. It gives you the opportunity to see your body and yourself as a whole through new eyes, to embrace yourself and connect with your inner goddess.
Some ladies like to share these photos and what they’ve learnt through this experience with a partner, or a good friend who might benefit from the same experience.
Many women we have photographed nude love to display their artwork in their bedroom or a space in the house that is their private space. To see their artwork all the time and be reminded of the beauty of their body and the day they did something completely new, the day they stepped out of their comfort zone and wholeheartedly embraced themselves for who they are becomes reality.
